About Us
The Akal Academy in Canada has been setup to promote Gursikhi and the mission of Sant Attar Singh Ji and Sant Teja Singh Ji.
The Akal Academy, Canada, a non-profit organization, is currently a full time Gurmat school where students are taught following subjects:
- Punjabi
- Kirtan
- Tabla
- Gurbani Santhya
- Tanti Saaj
- Dhadi Varan
- Gatka (Sikh Martial Art)
- Sikh History.

Akal Kirtan Phulwari
The 'Akal Kirtan Phulwari' program has been started with the objectives of keeping the children in touch with Sikh religion, Sikh culture and Gurbani, so that they don't go astray under the influence of Western culture.
This program hopes to inspire the cosmopolitan spirit in Sikh youth, to encourage them to maintain their distinct identity and heritage across the globe, wherever they may be.
Akal Academy students perform Kirtan programs on every Sunday from 5 pm to 7 pm.
